Advanced RPMI-1640 Medium

Roswell Park Memorial Institute (RPMI) 1640 Medium is widely used in the culture of many cell types, including lymphocytes, carcinomas and suspension cells. It contains various amino acids and vitamins essential for cell growth, though does not contain proteins, lipids or growth factors. This product should be used with serum (or equivalent) supplementation. Advanced (RPMI) 1640 Medium reduces serum supplementation by 50-90%.
