Datasheet SDS
Globotriaosylceramide (CD77) (PE) is a rat monoclonal antibody against Globotriaosylceramide (CD77). The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the transfer of galactose to lactosylceramide to form globotriaosylceramide, which has been identified as the P(k) antigen of the P blood group system. This protein, a type II membrane protein found in the Golgi, is also required for the synthesis of the bacterial verotoxins receptor. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.

Target Globotriaosylceramide (CD77)
Clonality Monoclonal
Clone N884
Reactivity Human
Tested Applications FCM
Host Rat
Recommended dilutions FCM: 10 µl/100 µl of whole blood or 106 cells. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Conjugation PE
Immunogen Daudi cell line (Burkitt's lymphoma).
Isotype Rat IgM
Purification The purified antibody is conjugated with R-phycoerythrin (PE) under optimum conditions. The conjugate is purified by size-exclusion chromatography.
Storage Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Buffer Stabilizing TBS solution with 15 mM sodium azide.
Specificity The rat monoclonal antibody recognizes CD77 (globotriaosylceramide Gb3), a neutral glycosphingolipid expressed mainly on the surface of B cell populations, such as germinal center B cells and Burkitt's lymphoma cells.
Availability Shipped within 5-12 working days.
