HIV-1 TAT Clade-C is a recombinant viral antigen from human immunodeficiency virus, expressed in E. coli. It is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 101 amino acids encoded by two exons. This product is provided in a lyophilized format, though it may appear as a solution as a result of the glycerol content.
