Leibovitz's L-15 medium is suitable for the culture of monkey kidney cells and HEP-2, the isolation of primary cells (such as embryonic and adult tissues), the culture of various viruses and the culture of neurons. It contains various amino acids and vitamins essential for cell growth, though does not contain proteins, lipids or growth factors.

Purification 0.1 µm Sterile Filtered.
Storage Store at 2-8 °C for up to 24 months. Avoid exposure to light.
Buffer pH 7.2-7.4, containing 2 mM L-Glutamine, 5 mM Sodium Pyruvate, 10 mg/L Phenol Red. Does not contain D-Glucose.
