This product provides complete protection of proteins from degradation by endogenous proteases that may be released during extraction and purification of proteins from animal and plant tissues, cultured cells, yeast or bacteria. While extraction of proteins, tissue or cell lysis buffer is filled with enzyme which produced by lysosome, and the unactive proteases are fully activated, the latter begin to digest their surrounding proteins. To avoid this, protease inhibitor must be added into the lysis buffer to prevent the digestion of proteases. The compositions of proteases that come from animal (mammal), plant, mould or bacterial are quite different, and will be changed based on the development of the organism state. It is important to choose the right protease inhibitor while extraction and electrophoresis of various kinds of proteins. This product is a mixture of 6 different protease inhibitors, this ensures inhibition of a broad range of proteases and esterases, including aspartase, cysteine, serine and aminopeptidase.
