Datasheet SDS
Urease is a recombinant mutant enzyme expressed in E. coli. It is genetically designed to have a high Km to urea, which is suitable for kinetic urea assays with a wide measureable range. This enzyme is composed of three subunits: 60.3 kDa "a" subunit, 11.7 kDa "b" subunit and 11.1 kDa "g" subunit. The structure of is very similar to native microbial ureases.
